Welcome to K9 Doggy Day care, Ilkeston, UK!

During your pup's arrival at doggy day care, we will check with you if there are any concerns that we can help with; if your pup has slept well, is eating well, etc. This quick health check will ensure a happy and safe day.

It may help you immensely for us to feed your pup. If this is something you would like, please bring their food with you to the dog day care and we will check what time/s you would like them to be fed. 

(if your pup attends regularly, you may want to send a week's worth at a time and we will keep it safe)

Once all the full day and morning pups have arrived, I will organise them into two groups. This depends on energy level (not age/breed/size) so that we can go on the right type of exercise, normally in Shipley Country Park in the Ilkeston area. High energy or slow and sniffing everything!

It is really important that during a busy day in the dog day care, that all the pups get the right amount of rest. Of course, when there are two dog walking groups, one group is resting while one is walking.

However, a timetabled rest period is also part of the day, this will happen within the Doggy day care Bungalow when all the beds and blankets will come out and something relaxing will be played on the Doggy TV!

I have a range of dog toys and puzzles that will keep your pup busy during playtime. Whether they want to play tug with their best friend or find treats in a the puzzle toys; they are free to choose their activities.

It is really important that our home times are well organised so that the handover can be smooth, information can be shared and pups can move safely to their owner's transport.

All owners can share their arrival time either when booking or by whatsapp during the day. 

(let's face it, traffic in Ilkeston and unexpected things happen on the way home, so times may change a little)
